Ubisoft Montreal's fully reimagined Prince of Persia is upon us as one of the last big games of 2008. Was it worth the wait, and is there more to the game beyond that stunning new art style?

Prince of Persia fans will either enjoy the game, or absolutely hate it, while the rest of the gaming community are likely going to be on the fence about it. There's a lot missing from the final product that could have made this a more memorable ride, but there's still some fun to be had here, regardless (just don't go expecting too much).

A fully reimagined Prince of Persia has been unveiled and it's as stunning as ever thanks to the super creative force at Ubisoft Montreal. Introducing a new support character and opening up the game-world to include open-world portions as well as tight, linear action paths has created one of the more exciting prospects for games this year.

Add to this one of the most stunning art styles ever seen in a mainstream action game and you have a very, very unique title. We saw Prince running at this year's E3 in Ubi's booth, be sure to check out our thoughts on the game in this in-depth preview. You can also check out more media from our Prince of Persia game page.
