It's likely going to start some comments rage, but DC's out-of-date manifest of characters (not including Batman) have come into contact with Midway's out-of-date Mortal Kombat characters in today's Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe review.

A similar formula has worked for Capcom and Marvel a few times now, but does it hold its own here?

You'll have to check out our review for more, but if you fancy yourself a Detective Comics or Mortal Kombat fan, you might find something of worth here. After checking out our review, be sure to hit up our game page for all related media and info.

Classic DC characters such as Batman and Superman face off against the fighting game genre's notoriously violent Kombatants, Sub-Zero and Scorpion (among others) of Mortal Kombat fame in the first ever cross-over between Midway's MK series and the DC Universe.

Is this just a cheesy attempt at making some cash? Or is there a good fighting game to be found upon investigation? You'll have to read our hands-on report for the full skinny, and be sure to check out all available media, locally on AusGamers, from our Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe game page.
