We've said it before, but this is definitely the year all of Microsoft's buying of exclusive DLC (downloadable content) will make an impact, and today we have one of the biggest releases in the way of Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned.
As a member of The Lost MC, you play Johnny Klebitz, a torn soldier trying to keep his brothers together, fed and alive. Yet his efforts fall on deaf ears when chapter president Billy comes back from rehab and runs amok. This is a far more interesting story than that of GTA IV, with grittier characters and an intimate story entrenched within the billowing dust of Liberty City. Check out our full review here. Rockstar have, in typical Rockstar fashion, inundated us with their warez of late, what with the impending release of the first Grand Theft Auto IV DLC, The Lost and Damned. And today, to put the icing on the cake, so to speak, they've released one last video for your viewing pleasure.
GTA IV: The Lost and Damned is due for release - exclusively - on Xbox Live next Tuesday (February 17), and features you playing as a member of the biker gang, The Lost, in the midst of a huge turf war brought about by decisions undermining your own - offering a fairly different experience overall. You can check out the new trailer right here, while our very own hands-on report can be found by clicking here. Like our Fallout 3: Operation Anchorage coverage, stay tuned next week for a full review of GTA IV's first episodic content, and in the meantime, feel free to head on in to our dedicated The Lost and Damned game page. The first of a planned series of episodic updates from Grand Theft Auto 4 is upon us. GTA 4: The Lost and Damned, sees you taking on the role of Johnny Kebitz, Vice President of the biker gang, The Lost.
Riding with your team, causing havoc and looking like one seriously tough SOB are all in a day's work for a member of The Lost. But when you're also watching your back every five minutes and are never truly sure who your friends and foes are, well it just makes for some good old GTA-style story-telling (with plenty of underworld goings on and big explosions, to boot!). We went hands-on with the update, so hit this link for our full thoughts. You can also check out our GTA IV review here, and game page here with screens and info. |
