2012
Escape from Age of Monsters is the first collaboration between developer Massive Joe Studios and publisher Ayopa Games, and is the second title in the Age of Monsters series. It will launch with a regular version for iPhone and iPod touch and an HD version for iPads. The HD version includes support for the new iPad’s Retina Display and features gorgeous hand-drawn graphics that leverage the graphical capabilities of the new iPad with vibrant colors and super-sharp resolution.

Escape’s amazing, animated visuals, which would be equally at home on the big screen as the mobile screen, are the creation of Emmy award-winning comic book artist and animator, Jeff Matsuda, who was the producer and creative director of the Batman cartoon show.

In addition to its amazing visuals, Escape also brings a host of gameplay innovations to the endless runner genre. Players have to run through crumbling buildings and punch through walls with perfectly timed taps while slashing through power-ups and collectibles that fly by their path. Featuring slug monster boss levels, over 60 objectives, a trophy room of items to earn as you run, a unique representation of player lives as trailing kids, and a Turbo Mode mini-game where you can really amp up your score, Escape brings a blistering mix of unique gameplay and eye-popping visuals that shouldn’t be missed.
