Still not sure where your holiday gaming money should be spent? We have yet another big year-end release in our review sights for you today with Call of Duty: World At War from Treyarch and Activision.

In the past Treyarch have been under fire for delivering lesser than their big studio brothers, Infinity Ward, but with their latest Call of Duty offering they've really upped the ante.

This is by no means as big a leap for the franchise as Modern Warfare was, but it's very solid gameplay experience. Check out our full review for the in-depth skinny, and be sure visit our CoD: WAW game page for all related info and media.

Ahead of even more time with the game over the next two weeks at Activision's annual Activate showcase (which we'll be attending), AusGamers had a chance during E3 to get down and dirty with the latest Call of Duty entrant, Call of Duty: World At War.

We've been sitting under an embargo until this week though, but we have for you here an extensive hands-on that highlights much of what the game has to offer plus a few hints at what we might be able to expect. We also have an exclusive video of the series' Military Advisor, Hank Keirsey, talking about the Pacific Campaign prior to our hands-on session.

As usual, be sure to check out our Call of Duty: World At War game page for more info and media.
