Warner have sent along a new trailer for Batman: Arkham City, and as cool as the previous cinematic was, this one is even better as it shows off some in-game action.
Set inside the heavily fortified walls of a sprawling district in the heart of Gotham City, this highly anticipated sequel to 2009’s Batman: Arkham Asylum, introduces a brand-new story that draws together an all-star cast of classic characters and murderous villains from the Batman universe, as well as a vast range of enhanced gameplay features to deliver the ultimate experience as the Dark Knight.
Check out the trailer below or click here for the HD streaming option.

Batman: Arkham City is due on October 19 to PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

If, like me, you absolutely loved Batman: Arkham Asylum, chances are you're wondering where all the promised DLC has gone. Not too soon after the game's release we saw Challenge Maps make their way to the game, alongside the PS3 exclusive Joker gear, but beyond that, it's been a bit bare-bones.

CVG have reported, however, that Rocksteady have actually job-posted for someone to come in specifically for crafting DLC, which you would assume is because the rest of the team are hard at work on the game's much anticipated sequel (check out the debut trailer here). Though in saying all of that, job-posting for the position now, likely means we won't be seeing new content any time soon. In fact, the posting could be regarding DLC for the sequel.

Either way, it's all too far away for my liking.

Batman: Arkham Asylum has won the 'Best Game' and 'Best Gameplay' awards at the prestigious British Academy Video Game Awards (BAFTA) last week:
¨It's fantastic for Batman: Arkham Asylum to win such prestigious awards,¨ said Lee Singleton, General Manager of Square Enix London Studios. ¨To receive recognition from the British Academy is a huge honour and reflects the passion and dedication of everyone involved in the game.¨
The game has been very well received by Australian gamers (we gave it a rockin' 9.5/10; if you haven't tried it yourself make sure you grab the PC demo and check it out. If you're interested in buying it, make sure you check out our Buy page, which contains a list of links to retailers and their respective prices.
