"Eurocom [is] undertaking a restructuring which I regret to say has meant we've made the majority of our workforce redundant," reads a statement from studio director, Hugh Binns.
"This includes many very experienced, talented and highly skilled employees, and we'd like to thank them all for your hard work and efforts.
"We've fought to try and save as many jobs as possible, but the steep decline in demand for console games, culminating in a number of console projects falling through in the last week, left us with no option. Eurocom has retained a core staff of just under 50 employees and will be focusing mainly on mobile opportunities moving forward."
007 Legends was poorly received by critics the world over, and garnered a 4.2/10 on AusGamers.

Our James Bond fan Dave Kozicki takes on the challenge of 007 Legend which stars a Daniel Craig look-alike as the agent who knows everything.
07 Legends absolutely reeks of a rush job. It may have the look (loosely) but carries with it none of the heart, soul or charm of the world’s greatest secret agent. The tenuous links to each film are almost in name only and I’m pretty sure Ian Fleming would be turning in his grave to see his pride and joy bastardised in such a fashion.Click here for our in-depth review.

007 Legends will feature Daniel Craig's (SKYFALL, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Casino Royale) James Bond while Rory Kinnear (SKYFALL, Wild Target, Quantum of Solace) voices MI6's Chief of Staff, Bill Tanner. In addition to the very large pool of talent for the game, veteran Bond film and video game writer, Bruce Feirstein (The World Is Not Enough, Tomorrow Never Dies, GoldenEye) will be in charge of creating the overarching storyline for 007 Legends.
007 Legends will be available October 16th for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
