Not really sure if this is an ausgamers/contact worthy question or what but NLB if it is.

A couple of times I've edited posts and it says it's updated and yet going into the thread itself it doesn't show the edited post, it shows the original.

And just now there's a topic that says 0 replies and yet if I go into it, there's 2 replies.

Is anyone else getting these weird shenanigans or should I be running all kinds of virus scans?

Using chrome browser but firefox seems to also be the same. Using ausgamers . com / forums.

Auto detect proxy is off, and no proxy is set on the internet connection options, my hosts file is clean apart from the entries I've put there myself and my router doesn't have any transparent caching proxy software on it.

I have noticed the same delay sometimes, especially with editing posts.

I also have a video of snakeman's SSD thread with 0 replies listed and 2 replies if I enter it, if any codemonkey admins need proof.

This is more than a delay, I edited a post some time last night and it still hasn't shown up. This is more than the old/usual minute or two delay ausgamers has always had.

It stinks of a misconfigured caching proxy somewhere if you ask me.

Yeah I usually do this but this time not even a ctrl + f5 would do it even half a day later.

Now, a post I tried to delete earlier but it seemed to fail has vanished and someone is talking to himself. L O L.

Screw it, I give up. Next time I'll just double or tripple post instead of even trying to edit anything

Probably some funk at a caching level, memcached or whatever the ausgamers poison of choice is.
