I don't really get it either, I've never been so annoyed by a poster that I've felt the need to block them. People on MSN/FB/Steam friends who rub me the wrong way, yes, but never on a forum. I usually just don't read their posts.

I don't see how ignoring someone who you think is a real dick is a childish action. This handy extension just makes it easier for me to ignore him.

Yeah Jim's right. That part of the UI is a bit finicky, you've gotta comma separate them with no extra spaces and it's case sensitive. It's a result of this thread, and it's a first Chrome extension so it's a bit rough around the edges.

I've never been annoyed at someone enough to block them either, including Faceman. For all of the comments you roll your eyes at, every now and then there's a genuinely funny or insightful comment in there. I can see how others do get riled up though. If there's fewer personality clashes maybe it'll will cut down on the number of thread derailments, but I'm skeptical on that one.

I read all of facemans posts. He adds a interesting alternative view to alot of discussion which would usually be very immature and 'follow the sheep' like... +kiddie troll spam


Looking at this addin it looks like you just have to change your forum name to get around it (as it's not based off ID). Perhaps I should make an addin that changes your forum name slightly every post. Let the arms race begin!
