When you use a free web service you’re the underclass. At best you’re a guest. At worst you’re a beggar, couchsurfing the web and scavenging for crumbs.
Just go Google+ I guess. They're practically handing it to them anyway. Google+ with more people in my network will be good, it's basically what Facebook was at the start, except with circles.
Not a huge surprise given the proliferation of "Like this post" or "Share on Facebook" or "See my page likers" widgets, iframes and code samples that are being implemented.
If you're worried by this stuff, you would shit bricks over what is tracking given how much Google Analytics is used... add the new 'remarketing' strategy to your SEM line up and you will never be alone on the interwebs again.
