I am wondering if someone can please help me, I am trying to modify my wordpress theme slightly. My website address is:

I have changed the background and a few other things, and thought everything was going well (checking as I went, by refreshing the page), until I logged out and refreshed the page while not logged in. While it looks ok in explorer, it looks terrible in firefox.

Basically just wondering if someone could help me clean it up a bit... make the margins look good in both explorer and firefox, and also fix a few things that I couldn't work out how to do (make the comment boxes transparent etc.)

If you're editing the code manually, changing the sidebar's css position to -100px seemed to fix it in FF.

when you say it looks the same in all - does it look same good or same bad? (main column pretty much centred rather than over the top of the sidebar). Thanks

Just noticed your archives actually do run all the way back to april 2009. Well done, it takes a lot of work to maintain and add content to a blog / website.

and just one more thing... I want my comment box to be transparent, so whatever image I put as the background (whether that be the tiles or not), you see that and not a white box. I've tried different codes that were suggested on word press help but nothing seems to be working.

Any ideas?

this is the stylesheet... there are a few comment related fields and I am not sure which one it is that I should put it in...

Also, I am still getting the problem where if I reload/refresh the page or click back on home, the main column writing moves all the way over to the left and overlaps with the sidebar text. No-one has answered me yet to say if this is what they are experiencing too? Please can someone try to replicate for me? And also, it seems to be only happening on the posts, not the other 'pages'....argh I just want someone to wave a magic wand! I know, I am asking too much.

as others have stated I would definitely lose that background if I were you - it is very distracting and makes it hard to read the body copy. You can still have a cool background image but keep it to the left and right of your main copy like i have done on my site http://www.sydneyvoice.com - you can still have a nice background but it wont detact from your design.
