Hi People.
I've been doing 'the rounds' so to speak over the past few days finding forums with people interested in Laning. Reason being is that I have a facility to offer.
The facility is called the Public Schools Club Inc, and we are on 207 East Terrace Adelaide with lots of easy parking. Our facility would be ideally suited for LANS of 40 in one room and 60 in another for a total of 100. We have plenty of powerpoints and tables, being a licenced premisis with a couple of bars and dining facilities with airconditioning and space frequently available on weekends. With a convenient quick walk to Rundle and Hindley Streets should you get bored :)
As we are a club, to avoid hire fees we require membership to avoid the hiring out of facilities. To reduce the impact of this I am currently in negotiation with other members on the committee to see that membership fees get put into promoting recreation accomodation of our members - specifically, should we find an interested group wanting to take up membership, the funds gained from membership subscriptions are to be used purchase networking equipment so the club has the necessary equipment ready and waiting whenever there is some spare time and a group wants to get together.
Membership fees are currently $54.00 per year for 18-25's, $160.00 for over 25 and living in city and suburbs, $80.00 for country $54.00 for retired. Corporate membership is available whereby city members can sign up as one to drastically reduce membership costs e.g 10 city members =$72.00 each. Membership gets the use of the facility without hire fees. Inc, the clubs full sized billiard table and shower facilities should you smell too much, as well as make suggestions as to how we can improve our services etc!
As we frequently have space available throughout the year, particularly on Sundays I think we would suit a LAN group with different gaming interests (mainly as our limits would be about 100 people).
If there are any questions feel free to send me an e-mail @
[email protected] and we'll take it from there, Cheers!
Dave
