What you need :
You'll need your computer system, and a 1000BT or 100BT network card and cable. We'll provide the tables, chairs, power and necessary network hardware. We can't always promise more than one power point per lanner so if you need more be sure to bring a power board. We also recommend you bring headphones instead of speakers. Please dont bring powered speakers with a subwoofer unit.

Food
Thanks to the Recreation centre catering has vastly improved. Hot dogs, Pies, pasties, sausage rolls, sandwiches, burgers, ice creams and LOTS of Coke and ither drinks will be available throughout the event in the Cafe. We also will be organising a pizza run at around 5pm through Pizza Hut.

Format: 5v5 on DE Maps only.
Rules: 7 Rounds a side, 3 minutes allowed time per round, bomb timer 30 seconds, starting money 800.

Call of Duty :UO Capture the Flag
Format: 5v5 Capture the Flag. Using the offical CoD:UO bonus map pack, available HERE , we will be running Valhalla's first ever CoD:UO CTF Competition. Maps will be classic CoD conversions.
Rules: Winner will be the first team to 3 flag captures, or the team with most caps after 20 minutes. PAM mod will be enabled and working for the LAN.
Maps: mp_uo_depot, mp_uo_carentan, mp_uo_dawnville, mp_uo_harbor and mp_uo_powcamp

Format: 1x64 Player Deathmatch Server.
Rules: The first person to 100 frags wins.

Unreal Tournament 2004 Capture the Flag
Format: 5v5 Capture the Flag.
Rules: Winner is the first team to 3 flag caps or the team with most caps when time runs out. In the event of a tie, the game will go into sudden death overtime. First team to score 1 flag cap wins. Should the overtime run longer than 5 minutes, a referee will declare a winner based on points scored in the game.

16 player spamfest on hl2dm, uhh I'm going to have to pass. As pointless as that is.

And hopefully by now you've learnt how to run a 64 player quake server...

I've had to many bad experiances while going to valhalla, with people using cheats on games tellings admins and nothing being done about it, even approaching the people using them and they don't bother to turn them off. On top of that I don't enjoy going to a lan that is just a leech fest with modem pings, so I won't be seeing you there.
