11:00 am Saturday 14th of February to 7:00 am Sunday 15th of February

Registrations for February's InLAN are open. If you have any difficulties registering, please contact us ASAP.

The AusGamers registration page has undergone a face-lift so you need to scroll to the bottom of this page to register. Click Here for details, Click Here to register, Click Here for the InLAN web site.

This InLAN we are starting to put in place some of the changes you have been suggesting. We have having player-controlled music in the building, more interesting competitions and we are even bringing back an old favorite, Total Annihilation, one of the best RTS ever made. We will also have a special LAN-only web site set up to help us run the comps, see who is playing what and more.

A crash-area will be set up in the main auditorium with random Simpson's episodes being shown on the projector. Another projector will be set up in the gaming area for information, Half Life TV and more.Promoted forum item.

Regarding the need to scroll to the bottom to get to the rego link, you could add a named anchor to some part of the description field, then include that in the url.

Brilliant idea. Done. Would be better if Ausgamers could put one at the top of the Event block or even remove some of their headers.

I dont really see how hard scrolling down a bit could be. The old events site you still had to scroll down to reach the registration link anyway.

As for the design of the AusGamers site, those boxes provide a function of promotion for both AusGamers itself, and its sponsors, which all help towards the actual day-to-day operation of the network. Forgoing these would mean that credit is not given where it is due, in my oppinion.

However, the Other LAN dates are possibly an optional addition, and a named anchor might be a viable option to add.

(double posting i know) :)

Yeah, I don't have a problem with it myself, I've just had some feedback from users. Lowest common denominator I guess.

I'd much rather see twice as much stuff in the header than not have AusGamers Events system at all! It rocks. The new design is great and all the admin's are greatful for it I'm sure.

That would be cool.
