Haha didn't even realise it was chipped!
Didn't have intentions of posting the meal here until this morning hence no during photo.
Recipe; oven to 185 and use baking paper on a tray so you dont need to oil it.
Set timer to 35 mins. Place the breast upside down.
When timer goes off turn breast over and sprinkle basil and thyme over the breast. Turn timer on for another 5 mins.
Heat small amount of olive oil in a pan on a medium heat. When warm add broccoli and mushrooms. After 3 mins remove mushrooms and drizzle a little honey over broccoli in pan and cook for another minute.
Remove broccoli to plate add diced pear and asparagus to pan and heat for 2 Minutes. During this time the chicken is done. Remove it from oven and place on plate then add pear and asparagus salad.
Enjoy!

Looks delicious, will have to make on Tuesday for girlfriend and myself. Might add a bit more veggies though, maybe some carrot in with the broccoli for honey style.

So I guess this doesn't count as clean eating? :(

Hamilton Island is good times but bloody expensive food wise.
I think I preferred my week holidaying at Palm Cove north of Cairns over Hamilton Island.

Yeah, crab sticks (can only find these in asian stores), carrots (microwave in water+honey), cucumber, avocado, shredded lettuce with jap mayo, smoked salmon (cheap), crumbed chicken (either fillets or panko crumbed breasts or shredded in teriyaki sauce, depending on what i've got), fish sticks (yup those coles frozen kind, wasn't bad actually). Basically just some of that, slice it up and mix and match. You can really put almost anything in sushi and it works fine.
I don't make it often cuz I find getting the rice right along with the sushi rice vinegar is just annoying.
Also when you're cutting it, keep the knife wet. Also if you don't have a bamboo mat a teatowel works fine. Also, I've seen people use plastic wrap to roll+squeeze but not sure if you need to and might be a pain anyway. last edited by eXemplar at 15:14:07 25/Nov/12

Either way.. was pretty damn tasty and was incredibly simple to make providing you follow a few golden rules (that I work by).

Also, exemplar, it looks like you boiled the shit out of your veg there, this destroys the flavour, texture and nutritional content.

It's the best, because eating sugary shit makes you feel terrible. I'm down to 86kg from 90kg in the last couple of months and feel great.
There is way too much sugar in junk food, if they halved it no one would even notice. The trick is to find rad junk food that has natural fruit flavour in it and low sugar, like Roll Ups. They are only 17% sugar, which is really low compared to most junk. Coco Pops for example are about 37% sugar.
|
lol you live in the UK. Blandest food dead anywhere in the world. nah they have ships and planes in the uk now, which means they've started mingling with people from lands far, far away like europe and eating their foods. and if you look really really hard, you might find a food establishment that's run by people that have emigrated from those places

I soaked them in balsamic vinegar with some rice bran oil and onion powder for a bit, no idea how that was gonna turn out but thought I'd give it a go. Then I got impatient and pressure cooker'd for like 4 minutes.

The new food pyramid:
Notice there is no mention of sugar and it says to actively avoid it.
Eating too much white bread and pasta is unhealthy. Unprocessed plants should be the main thing you eat, meaning fresh fruit and vegetables. As you can see, when combined, they are the largest group now instead of cereals.

hasn't the amount of sugar in the aussie diet decreased massively from 1950's figures?
my feeling is that the type of sugar is the issue (ie, from cane or beet, much better than HFCS) something to do with fructose messing with the insulin receptors

that is the most retarded thing dais
why even make it a pyramid
gg government
actually it looks like they've changed it again (lots of money changing hands over this I imagine), the pyramid is now a plate shape:
http://www.choosemyplate.gov/
hahaha
it's really just a pie chart of which industries have the most advertising money
