A company is planning to stream the world’s first ever live HD video feed of our planet from space to your computer - 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

UrtheCast (pronounced “EarthCast”) will capture footage of our oceans and continents using specially created cameras attached to the International Space Station, the company’s website said.

Travelling at 26,000 km/ph and orbiting the Earth 16 times a day, the cameras will be down-linked to ground stations and then displayed in near real time on UrtheCast’s website.


Well atleast I hope it can be modified into a windows background because that will just take the cake!
