For those that have read these comics, it is basically a sarcastic retelling of the overall plot with some made up stuff for humour. I didn't find it funny.

Yeah, I thought the Death of Superman was a bit crap when I read it, but that video was pretty crap too. Its not really restricted to just Superman though, most of the Death and Return type stuff they do with comic characters ends up being stupid. When Batman "died" recently and came back it was just weird and confusing, and I didn't read the story of Captain America coming back after he died, but a friend tried to explain it to me and it sounded equally confusing and fucked up.

I can't believe no one is talking about how hot Louis Lane is in this. Anyone know the actress who played her? She was absolutely stunning. What was her name?

It wasn't a baby being thrown up against walls, hes some kind of thing that when he gets killed, he comes back to life and develops a defense against whatever killed him, so he becomes harder to kill next time. So the guy killed him over and over and over to make him come back stronger each time.

All that stuff was retconned in way later though I thought, at the time he was just an unexplained big, mean, grey, spikey guy who punched Superman till he died.
