makes me wonder if space travel ever came to be, how would one navigate it? since everything is moving around..

I went to Yosemite back when I was a kid. I was really a bit too young to appreciate the place but I do remember the massive fuck off trees (ones so big that a road goes through the trunk) and the beautiful scenery in general, oh and the warning signs about bears :)

After we arrived and put our shit in the cabin I wandered outside and there were wild dear just wandering past a few meters away, I was pretty stoked to see that as a kid.

I'd love to go back there. Canada is also home to some awesome scenery.

A quick google, I couldn't find the road trough tree but this still shows the size of these bad boys, Red Woods I think.
