Agreed jmr, but it's almost impossible to catch these waves without a tow,

you just drop vertically down the face and it's game over

Token surfer at work showed me this on Monday. The scene showing the headland puts the size of the wave in perspective.

That said, it might be bigger, but it's not as badass as teahupoo.
