Who is the most talented person on your facebook? Mine is a dude I went to every year of school with who is an artist. He was always a good drawer in school but what he produces now is utterly amazing I reckon. Here is an example of some of his works.

But this type of stuff when an artist tries to depict imitate real life on canvas is what I think is art, this modern 5 year old finger painiting types are wrong
Some chick on mine from primary school is an interior decorator and did the interior of most of the big clubs in the valley and now is working in new york. Dunno how talented she is, but interesting job.
Most other people I have on there are talented at having babies, and being bogans.

of course art being art the guy will probably struggle to be successful because photorealism isn't new and the arty bullshit that sells you to galleries is pretty tough when the bullshit isn't quite so thick. dude would have been a god in NY 80s though.

I think he sold his last painting for 20k. He doesn't work, he only paints and from the look of his studio he seems to be doing okay.
The first and last pic in the OP were cool, the other two were a bit meh, looks like he uses photo reference too as I don't believe anyone can paint like that from memory.
Also I have a ton of game artists colleagues on my Facebook so it's not an easy task to pic the best, but I'll go out on a limb and say me :P

thats awesome to hear. its so unfair when truly brilliant artists get shadowed by the most ridiculous bullshit... like lars from metallicas crap selling for millions or the 5 year old picasso rip off prodigy types - basically the sideshow freaks of art instead of the hard working talents.
