Bruce Willis bought loads of music via iTunes, and now he's realised you can't leave your iTunes to another person when you die.

So now he's trying to figure out how to deal with this - and this may mean suing Apple.

The Hollywood action hero is said to be considering legal action against technology giant Apple over his desire to leave his digital music collection to his daughters.

For those unwilling to click a news ltd link, here is a reputable international news source to verify this news:
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/4517317/Bruce-Willis-to-fight-Apple-over-music-rights-after-his-death.html

The articles go on to say how awesome Bruce Willis is, having played in his own band, and spending his holidays building houses for the poor.

Dont hate on willis. Save that for Kirstin stewart or something.

you can't leave your iTunes to another person when you die.

Surely you can leave your username+password for them to use right?

It isn't hate. If you saw more than 2 facial expressions from Bruce your own face would explode. He does it for you...

Isn't this part of the terms and conditions for when you sign up with iTunes? (Although i'm not 100%, i don't use itunes).

Wouldn't this be no different to steam?

Just hand over account details I guess?

yep. I've played music from my friends collection in my itunes, it doesn't appear to give a s*** who I'm logged in as either. For all the legal eagles swarming around, no I didn't keep any of it, his taste in music is s*** (dubstep lolz)

The Sun isn't much better then The Daily Mail tbh, I wouldn't call it a 'reputable international news source' - try the Guardian, BBC, or even the Telegraph instead.

Yeah but that wouldn't change the legality of it. Or the ability to download it from iTunes again if it's lost for some reason.

He needs to face the fact that we live in a digital age and legally any media you buy is allowed to be used by individuals, not shared around.

Nah, that's Daily Mail.

While the Daily Mail is the lowest common denominator of British journalism, it seems like about 95% of British newpapers/journalism is the the news.com.au equivalent for the UK.

Twilight/Snow White chick.

Biggest thing that bugs me about her is that look on her face like she's constantly smelling some really rank rotting garbage.

Twilight/Snow White chick

And a few other movies. I remember her from some teens working at a carnival movie, with that curly haired mofo from the facebook movie and Zombie land.

It kind of concerns me you dont know who she is whoop. I mean im not one to follow celebs n s*** but if you have any contact with the outside world im guessing twilight has been mentioned, and probably her as well. Or go online to imgur / reddit n her lack of acting is mentioned, still. Unless you are old of course, if thats the case then thats cool.

The whole thing turned out to be a lie anyway. This is why you shouldn't read news.com.au or any British tabloid. ABC (and sometimes BBC) are the most reliable news sources.

Because they may as well just download it from torrents, you are literally file sharing.

BW has thousands of bucks in legal music and allegedly considers it an asset that he would like to pass on. He can't.

The story is made up but its still worth considering. You can give a CD to someone, but you can't legally transfer your right to a digital file.
