From the Google Blog, a beta of Chrome for Android has been released for Ice Cream Sandwich (v4) users:
Features:
- Browse fast with accelerated page loading, scrolling, and zooming
- Search and navigate directly from the omnibox
- Open and switch between unlimited tabs in an easy-to-view stack
- Sign in to Chrome to sync your bookmarks and view tabs you have open on your computer
- Send pages from desktop Chrome to your smartphone or tablet with one click and read them on the go, even if you’re offline
- Browse privately in Incognito mode
According to the site, it's available for Australian users, so people with ICS should be able to install it from here.

little buggy but pretty cool. works smoothly on my SGS2. Think i'll stick to stock browser for the moment. I'll have to try it on my xoom when i get home.

Sorry, I'm an android noob, but my new phone will be arriving in the next day or two.

Whats the default browser for ICS if Chrome was only just released?

Using it now, more slick than the other browsers. THere's a good video at the verge reviewing it

How do you determine what version of Android you have, and how do you upgrade it?

Version is in Settings -> About Phone (at the very bottom), but most phones do not have an official ICS update available yet.

LG Optimus GT540, I've had it less than a year. Got it at Dick Smith, it was the only Android phone on my network (I have a really great deal on that plan and you can't get it anymore).
Looks nice, but it's an absolute pile of crap. They should be sued for making this shit.

Released running Android 1.6 Donut, the device can be officially upgraded to Android 2.1 Eclair via an LG software release.

First announced in April, 2010 and first sold in June, 2010
