Hi guys,

Got a client running 2003 SBS with 25 Cals, just wondering if I can upgrade them to 2008 SBS Cals or if they have to purchase them all again? Saves me a long call to MS.

NO

Q. Can I purchase upgrade CAL packs to upgrade my SBS 2003 CALs to SBS 2008 ones?

A. No. Upgrade packs are not available; you must purchase new SBS 2008 CALs.

Looking forward to it too... We're holding off upgrading our in-office network until it drops.

Wicked call on the SBS2011l, didn't even realise it was due.

Essentials looks like a great idea for sites up to 25 users. Anyone looked into options after 25 cals? Is it a hard limit or is there an upgrade / license change to go to standard?
