i'm probably going to go to the one in canberra tomorrow (later today), cause i have to buy some fans. If the Case guy is there i'll ask him if he'll be at randwick on sunday.

it's at woden on saturday (canberra) i've never been to it when it's on there, so don't know if the case guy goes.

for those asking about the markets: you pay $2.50 per adult to get in. There's stalls selling hardware as cheap/cheaper than on the net -postage. You can buy everything. printers, cases, screens, games, printer cartidridges, spy cameras, harddisks, ram, dvdrs, drives, blah blah. At one of the canberra ones a job agency is there promoting the contracts they have at the moment. Just don't buy at the first stall, ask around for a better price.

This is where i purchased my disk case and i buy my blanks (last time they were $42 for 50 - probably cheaper now).

Well i went to parramatta computer markets today and happen to see a guy selling them there. Woot :) So i bought one. He didnt have any 510 disk ones left so i bought the 390 case. :)

Also the guy who sells blank media was selling princo A grade dvd blanks. 50 for $32.

I spoke to the case guy at the markets today. he will be at Randwich tomorrow. He doesn't have 500s either, just 390s and 240s. Has them in black AND a sweet looking silver. The silver looks nicer than black. i think my next one will be a 390 silver.

390s were $49 i think.

Didn't check the price of blanks. Should be right through till next week anyway.

Garce, becareful with your princo's, if they don't have a serial number in the middle, and the serial number doesn't start with letters, then they aren't 4x certified. If there's no serial or the serial starts with numbers they have been mis-badged as 4x.

Well the ones i got have a B to start with so hopefully they are. In nero it offers 4x. You cant see the serial number till you open it up when u get home.

I also noticed that they had two sets of princo's in the 50 pack lots. Both rolls had same lable. But in one lot the dvd's had nothing written on them. On the other they had information written on dvd blanks. I got ones without anything on them.

As for the case i bought mine was $69. The 510 was $89. He said he had some & that he just ran out. I didnt get there till 2:30 or so. Mines the black one

I found out about the serial numbers, cause when at the market 2 weeks ago there was a pissed off guy there who said that he'd run princo and that princo had told him that four times need a serial starting with double characters around the hole in the center. The DVDR seller was happy to open the pack for him and show him a 4x certified serial.

My current 50 packs start with PB2540 and B113. I'm burning good stuff to the PBs and stuff i don't really care about to the B113s :)

Yesterday i saw a maximum hard disk size of 200gb. Didnt ask the price tho.

As for my princo's the serial starts with B02Q34. So do they have to start with double letters or something? Mine dont.

Well swazi i was at north Rocks markets and saw a 200 gb seagate ide drive for $210 . I actually went there to do some other shopping but had a look at the markets while i was there.

Also those cd cases were for sale there as well. Dam should have waited because a guy was selling the 390 disk silver case for $45.
