Clever sure, but A) not a tank (Tractor at BEST) and B) it's been done (with a 'combat-proven' Armoured Vehicle) before.

There was an amphibious version of the sherman tank developed for D day.
The Sherman DD (Duplex drive) but had the nickname Donald Duck

Not the vulcanized rubber pads on most conventional armoured vehicles (tho each track link isn't massive and foamy like the OP vehicle)
