Wasn't there something like this in the Blue Mountains in the early 80's?
Probably not as long but I'm pretty sure there was some insane coaster there, the track followed the cable car thingo down the hill, which was STEEP, and went out over the cliff edge.
EDIT: it is actually still getting built, 20+ years later :/
Rumours of carriages crashing 200 metres to the floor of the valley below and the train returning with sandbag test dummies missing have kept tourists and locals intrigued.
There are controllable brakes for the rider, it's just he didn't use them on his go. Check his other vid, there's heaps of people bunched up near each other on the things.
Was that back in the 80's scuzzy? I remember there was a grass skiing place on the way to the Big Pineapple and there was also a waterslide place up that way too.
there was some amusement park in adelaide somewhere and they had the toboggan ride. I remember my old man and I going nuts on it. so many years ago, ahh the memories. so these toboggan things were closed down cause they awere deemed unsafe?
so is crossing the road and flying in an aeroplane.
Woopty fuckin' do, all there should be is a signed thing saying. I am doing this understanding I may die. etc. That way people can still do the crazy shit that they love (to get their thrills etc)!
Instead of do it anyway, die and then not let anyone else do it.
Like sky diving, you can die from a parachute twist if the wind does a certain thing so!?
no helmets and you control your own speed, so what happens if you come up behind some fat ass middle aged woman going slow and belt into the back of them?
Would be wicked if you knew nobody was in front of you though...
