"... I was an adult, I was awake, and I went along with it. So I'm not pointing the finger at anyone else and saying 'they made me do this'. Alright. I was there. "
- Joel Schumacher.
I've always liked the older Batman movies, they were made in a time where corniness was everywhere in movies. Watching back on them now I still get a laugh out of Mr Freeze and Poison Ivy, though my favourite is the Riddler, Jim Carrey did such an awesome job.
Seeing Alicia Silverstone in that suit brings back all kinds of youthful boner memories for me.
It's such a shame that Alicia Silverstone is now a freak that chews up food and spits it into the mouths of her children like a fucking Magpie.
The only good to come of this movie was The Smashing Pumpkins single The End is the Beginning is the End, and mainly because of the B sides on that single. The Ether's Tragic is a great instrumental.
I thought as much Khel - I haven't seen them in ages but the memories are still fond. Haven't seen the newest Nolan one yet but I thought the other two were okish, stayed out of the relevant thread on here just in case. :)
Turns out it is spelled gray in the song. Lol well who knew. I used to sing kiss from a rose on the grave, it made sense in my mind, because i was a kid and didn't know that drugs were a thing :P
Tho I did pick em up recently in the '1989-1997 Anthology' on Blu-Ray.
Glad I caught this featurette, interesting to see how peeps took the battering 10 odd years on, and also interesting to see some of the 'mistakes' they seem to have made (making the production so secretive, and yet taking it in such a 'flippant/flamboyant(sp?)' direction seems the biggest looking simply at that 30 odd minutes.)
