Basically anything Hans Zimmer.

I bought the soundtrack to The Thin Red Line like 10 years ago for this one track, had totally forgotten about it till the Man of Steel trailers.

As for games, Halo was probably the biggest standout that comes to mind quickly, but no one specific track.

Awesome, had forgotten about Gladiator and Last Samurai as well!

Couple of other recent great Zimmer OSTs were Black Hawk Down and of course the Nolan Batman trilogy.

If you were a young kid when you saw this you cried. I know I did, ballsy move they did killing the most popular character of the entire series.

Also fun fact: this was the ending song for the anime which used to be on CheezeTV, Teknoman.

Nothing beats this for bundling so many different emotions together into a killing scene. Probably James Horner's finest work in my experience.

really? what platform? it doesn't sound the same as the crunchy 8-bit bomb-the-bass track that i remember from the pc version of xenon2: the megablast. same tune of course... just not as crunchy n it has vox in it.
