she passed away by cancer as age 62, she was the star of Doctor who with tom baker

DOCTOR Who actress Mary Tamm, 62, has died after a long battle with cancer.
Tamm, who played the first incarnation of the Doctor's companion Romana, alongside Tom Baker, died at hospital in London. Her agent Barry Langford said she had a "zest for life".

Tamm died at her home in Battersea, southwest London, after suffering from cancer for 18 months.

Personally I preferred Leila, she was ok tho.
Always sad to see tho...

Apparently Elisabeth Sladen (aka Sarah Jane Smith) actress died last weekend also :(

So she died at hospital and her home? Oh yeah of course, she's from Doctor Who, makes sense. Dual reality or sumpin.
Also rather unfortunate placement of the quote "zest for life" right after it's stated she died. Obviously not zesty enough.
