Love Tool but would still prefer a new APC album first but I seem to recall some time in the last couple years both Maynard and Billy Howerdel said they were just going to release odd tracks here and there rather than working on a full length album, same applied to Ashes Divide. Hope they change their mind.

At any rate, even if Tool are recording a new album in June, it'll probably still take like 5yrs to be released eventhough they're saying possibly released before the end of the year.

Lateralus is hands down their best album, that being said I did really enjoy 10000 days, The Wings for Marie and 10000 Days combo was insanely powerful.

Big year for new releases. I did read somewhere that there is a new APC album coming out this year as well.

New one from Dead Letter Circus (seeing them on Saturday, yew!) and Karnivool this year as well, with Parkway Drive possibly punching another out before the end of the year.

Good stuff on the horizon, methinks =)
