+1 for them using The Glitch Mob - How To Be Eaten By A Woman for their trailer song. Gotta admit though this looks so much better than the other 3 movies. I'm guessing they are using the ultimate storyline for this one so maybe that's why it seems better idk.
I remember back in the 70s live action spider-man movie that even that spidey back then made his own webshooter, and tested it out on trees to see if it could hold his weight. Makes me wonder why the Rami ones thought to have it come out of parkers wrist.
Still shocked theres a reboot so quick, but it looks like a big step up over the last couple of movies.
I think they needed to make a movie otherwise they lose the licence. Once Rami dropped out and they decided to do a reboot i was very sceptical. But when they announced the cast, director and the direction they were going with the series i was back in. I saw some footage a few months ago at a special preview screening and what i saw was awesome and much more inline with the comics.
Looking good, never really liked the other ones, Toby McGuire made it feel like the cast of neighbours or home and away were bitten. Toadfish to the rescue.
There is apparently a sequel planned according to wiki:

Webb also stated that the origin story will unfold not just in this film but in the other films to come. "I wanted to give the audience something new, so that started off with getting underneath the parents' story, which will unfold over probably a few movies." Webb stated.
