Just watched it then and it has to be one of the worst movies I've ever seen. It's just so painfully dull and boring to sit thru. Daniel Craig is terrible and Harrison Ford isn't too much better either. There was something wrong with the whole thing. It just felt off. Like nothing ever really happens.
If you were thinking of sitting thru it I recommend you don't and watch something else instead.
I'm a bit upset with her at the moment. The last two movies she did, Swinging With The Finkles and Love Wedding Marriage were both crap. She goes and does something amazing like Tangled and then follows it with this crap. She better start getting it together.
Wow, I just want to bash myself over my head now for actually wanting to see this movie, I might go watch the Twilight saga with my girlfriend instead... =\
I was going to post a Half in the Bag episode where they review this (same guys who do those 1 1/2 hour star wars reviews) but it turns out they liked it, as did I. So to attempt to appease the flame gods here is a very funny review they did on a real gem of a movie called "Black Ninja"

I find it funny that the only Mandy Moore movie you've enjoyed lately was the one she didn't actually star in and only used her voice.
Absolute dribble of a movie. I've tried to watch it twice now and i simply cannot, it's that bad. Stop and watch something else, like Sound of Music instead.
It's called "Cowboys and Aliens", you sad fucksticks. How could you watch it and expect anything good? Pro tip: watch movies with no expectation of quality whatsoever, all your surprises will be pleasant ones.
Now go circlejerk each other on the IMDB or RT forums.
Watched it last nite with the missus, she said wasn't good but also not bad. I thought was ok, but why the fuck did the alien take the pipboy thing off in the first place, had no need and movie would have been shorter if he kept it on.
I like it, it wasn't a brilliant movie, but like some other people have said, it was enjoyable enough for what it was. I think some people went in expecting more sci-fi action, when really it was more of a western with some weird sci-fi stuff thrown in. Was a a bit slow in parts but overall I didn't mind it
I enjoyed it for what it was... i didn't expect much, so i wasn't dissappointed... Thought the fight scenes were pretty good, dialog was a bit meh, but on the whole it had enough to keep me watching...
Best move i watched over the weekend tho would have to be Red Dog. For an aussie movie, it's the best i've seen. Plus i come from that region originally, seen the statue, can spot all the locations where they filmed it. Only thing i disliked about the movie is that dumb as actress from transformers... fail... other than that, give the cowboys a miss and go the dog!!
I would have preferred it as a Western - as the start was awesome - or as a sci-fi, the combination of two wasn't working well.
You'd hate Firefly then.
I almost rented it the other night while I was at block buster, just to see if it was as shit as you all say.
Instead I got: Hanna, Captain America and The Rise of the Planet Of The Apes
Hanna: Young genetically modified assassin girl, not enough action towards the end. Kind of boring & reminded me of Babylon A.D.
Captain America: Not as awesome as Iron Man, but still Awesome. Would watch again.
Rise of the PotA: SNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE. Entire first 2/3 was about some noob trying to fix his dad's alzheimers and ends up killing him instead, while the last bit was just a bunch of smart apes running across the golden gate bridge to get to a rain forest on the other side.
CvA is an awesome film. A great throwback to the westerns of yester year whilst incorporating a sci-fi angle that to me made sense.
I rewatched heat last night though, and it is 1000 times a better movie.
CvA is what it is. Given the title, it could of been a lot more shlock.
Finally got around to watching this the other night, enjoyed it up until around the time you found out the back story with Olivia Wilde's character, thought the whole movie took a big nose dive from there.
