I'll start:
I own an $8000, 9 year old Ford Falcon poverty pack and as far as I am aware (and according to the safety cert) it hasn't any defects...
p.s. try and keep them all 100% real, please.

I've worked out where I want to go and what I want to do. The rest are mere formalities and will be completed in due course (I'm aiming for late this year/early next year to leave). In the meantime I will set about obtaining the necessary funding and securing some form of IT job when I get to the UK (working holiday visa).

Lessons in Life: by Hunter
1. Don't date people you work with. Just don't
2. Don't bother with women unless you plan on:
sacrificing a major part of your income
having your balls cut off and kept in a box by her
being mindfucked on a regular basis
being lied to
wasting your time
being lied to
3. Everyone else on the road is deaf, dumb and blind. Always keep far away from the tard in front... people can and will do stupid things that end with you getting the blame.
SUFFICIENT DISTANCE LOLOLOL
4. Don't EVER let your boss think that its ok for you to do unpaid O/T. Don't let them put the guilt onto you.
5. Binge drinking is not cool. You will regret it one day. Savour a few nice whiskeys rather than down 2 dozen low quality shit drinks.
6. Never trust a wrecker. Wrecking yards were invented by shifty-eyed bastards for the sole purpose of ripping people off.

In short, if you don't like it, don't read it. I don't like Andrew Bolt's column mostly because he never says anything worth reading - do I feel compelled to write a letter to the Courier-Mail each time they reprint his syndicated content? No. It would be pointless and only make him more determined to write what he does. I let him have his view, how ever skewed it may be, and ignore it.

I don't automatically assume and expect sex - that isn't the way I operate. Besides, I'm not really into casual sex with people I don't know, I'd really have to know someone reasonably well before I jumped in the sack with them.

As for undying love... well I dunno but I do a lot of things for her (like tonight walking several ks and doing all sorts of stuff in the city to bring her something to ease her toothache while she was at work) and I guess, I really do mean what I say. I might be unbanned from uttering the words tomorrow so let's see how it goes.

Early in school assholes used to target me for doing the right thing (no I don't mean being a teachers pet either): this eventually led to me becoming what's known as a Smartass(tm) - in other words I got jack of taking shit from knuckle-dragging neanderthal shitstains. The only problem with being a smartass is that usually creates more trouble than it solves - my advice: learn how to run like a guy on fire as it'll save you copping the boots when on the ground.

My point is that by only having one inbound and one outbound rail line you're severely limiting the amount of traffic you can have on said lines. Most of the stations in Brisbane have 3 tracks in the station itself (usually one is used for freight trains to run through the platform) but only two actual rail lines. And any additional tracks you see being laid are more than likely just sidings, not an entirely new line...

Having owned a Gemini in the past, I can say it does take a lot of effort to make them lose control. They're generally a forgiving car and RTS-equipped models (iirc your now-ex-mate's gemini may not have had it) handle pretty damn well for their age. What I do know is that you can push and push and push a Gemini to its limits, and it will generally do some crazy stuff but when it does let go, you aren't pulling it back under control easily... once they let go, that's it, you're now a passenger.
Your mate sounds like a complete idiot if he did that stuff with people in the car. I've done dangerous things in vehicles before but almost entirely by myself and out in the middle of nowhere. Only ever had a passenger a couple of times while doing stuff (my cousin) but he understood the risks and we both trust each other's driving ability... But to do that with people in the car... is fucking dumb and downright irresponsible.

The triumphant return:
I mean I've recently discovered that I can actually dance but it really doesn't interest me that much and seems pointless - I mean at best you're going to get some chicks number (and I emphasise AT BEST) then what - you call her and find out that you're totally different people and that it was a complete waste of time? Why not get to know them the moment you meet? At least you will know whether or not the relationship is worth pursuing. And clubs I find generally don't let you be who you really are and you are more likely to put on a public face because you're constantly looking over your shoulder or TRYING to impress rather than showing your true self.
and then
One cocktail bar I did go to was the guest's lounge at the Carlton Crest here in Brisbane. A mate and I managed to get into the joint without actually being guests or even knowing a guest. But the only problem is that it was quite dead and the bartender asked us if we had any more mates we wanted to invite in. However I then later find out from my mother that its actually a gaybar

Back on topic, I've had marked cop cars tail me for ages, presumably checking my plates or whatever. One time I took my old gemini out for a test run after fixing something on it so mum could drive it (I have a Falcon myself) and I was a little concerned at a) how close they were and b) the state of the car made it look a little bodgy (not unroadworthy but didn't look very presentable). I just kept driving, eventually they disappeared off to do something else. I'd say they were just running a check on my plates to see if the car was stolen or whatever then when it finally cleared they went "meh" and found someone else to observe.

Not with violence.
You're aware that if you are involved in a fight that you could be charged by police? In other words, hitting somebody because they said something off the cuff or 'offended' you is actually against the law.

I was hanging out with one of my overseas friends at the weekend and we had been discussing my plans to travel overseas at some point (hopefully in the near future) and I mentioned to her that at one stage I had contemplated (and still do somewhat) working on a cargo ship so I could see the world. She asked if I had considered becoming an airline steward, to which of course I replied "Haha, me, an airline steward?? Nahh nooo way." But since she has mentioned it, I have given it some consideration.
I know this is probably a very very long shot but has anyone here ever worked as one, or still do?

Here's a thing: Don't believe anything based on face value. Read between the lines, and read in between the bits in between the lines.
Everyone is a liar, trust noone. I'm serious here - unless you have absolute proof of something, take everything with a grain of salt. Lies are made to cover up lies which are made to cover up other lies which are made to conceal the truth in one matter in which someone lied about actually lying or not.
See my point? There's so many plots, counter-plots and whatnot in the world today that the real truth can never really be known - and that's the intention of those in control. They can no longer control the flow of information completely, but they can sure as hell make it such a noisy mess that you can't pick right from wrong.

Never been involved in any real incidents, though I have had the odd dickhead yell something out or behave like an asshat. People sometimes piss me off on the road but not to the point of acting out on it... if someone does something stupid I'll give them a blast with the horn and maybe roar past them. If I do something stupid I'd expect the same else what if I were to keep on making that same mistake (I don't make mistakes but that's beside the point)?
For example, some twanger once ran through a 'turn left anytime with care' and did anything but - pulled out into my lane when I was a mere 20 meters away and travelling at 60 km/h - just over a second's worth of distance. Luckily I was watching through the intersection well before I came through it and saw the guy approaching the turn quite fast, but I wasn't really sure if he were stupid enough to pull out. Anyway I was able to quickly pull into the other lane as there wasn't anyone around me. Now if there had been someone to my right in the other lane and someone up my clacker, I probably would've been in a pretty serious accident or come close to one so I let this twit know what I thought by giving him a blast of the horn just as he executed this fantastic piece of driving. Then I proceeded to drop my Falcon down a gear and give it a bootful back up to the speed limit and roar in his ear (his window was down). Hopefully this got the point across that he just did something incredibly stupid and was behaving in a negligent manner on the road. I'd rather not die/be maimed because someone who could clearly see me if they looked decided to ignore this fact and pull out so close in front.
