Let me try:

- Forget wendesday that was just defi being delusional.

- The majority here seem to have agreed to meet up on a sunday, so forget saturday. Sunday it is.

- Not many actually suggested where to go besdies wolfie and no one seemed to have disagreed with the destantion so you could prolly assume that's where we're heading. (regardless of wherever on earth that is).

- Few people decided to have a southside meeting point if heading northbound, places suggested were:

1- Carindale - nf, defi, ek, Suhaib, Booyah
2- Garden city - Burt ?....
3- brownsplains - Burt ?....

I vote carindale since it's just down the road from suhaib and I but we're up for either one. It seems like Carindale is the go anyhow? More opinions needed.

- BBQ involved ? well i'm up for a day cruise but i'm not keen on a bbq as i wont even be able to eat half the shit so that's why i say we all get to the final meet up point after lunch whenever that is. Doesn't bother me though if you guys decide to have it after all, i'm a democratic sand nigga.

- Need someone of more of an authoritive figure (maxe, burt, wolfie etc..) to Fill' N Finalise the details.

Ok looks like it's swinging Garden City's way, so Garden City it is. Never been there on a sunday but there should be plenty of car parks in the Rebel/Office Works car park. Time to meet there depends on the time we all meet up at wherever we're all meeting up.

I suggest we do it this way.

I'm going up to maleny tomorrow to see my old man and grandparents so i will drive to baroon pocket dam and check out the location and see if there are actually BBQ's available anymore, if there are i say we stick with the BBQ idea, if not we just eat up in Maleny somewhere, there's plenty of nice cafe's and stuff to see and do there in the smallish town.

Anyways as for meeting points i suggest we do this, instead of making you guys drive out to locations that arent really on the way down i say we do the following;

For most of you to get to the hinterlands and onto the bruce highway most of us will end up travelling along the gateway bridge. So it's my best suggestion that we all meet up at the giant shell service station with the red rooster and food places which is just off an exit that heads towards nudgee beach. I think its called vincent road exit or something.

If we all meet there its pretty much on the way to where we are all heading, i say we make that meeting point number 1 and make it for about 10am on sunday. Then we give everyone about half an hour to get there and leave lets say 10:30am and go from there.

Second meeting point should be on the way down, so i think we should then make our second meeting point the giant BP service station on the way to the coast and meet up there at about 11:15am, gather everyone together and then head up to the hinterland for the cruise.

UHF radios i think are a must for cruises, easiest way to stay in touch with each other, plus those two stops are service stations which will give you guys time to fill up on fuel, etc, grab snacks and then head up to maleny.

I personally think this is the best way to go instead of organising meeting points in the suburbs which arent on the way to the destination point.

The UHF radio i recommend is the GME TX610, has 1watt of trasmitting power so its good for up to 1 - 2klms of distance and keeps the clarity of the voice pretty well. Anything under 1watt of trasmitter power is pretty much useless, i think i paid about $60 for this unit about 1.5 years ago now.

You are more than welcome to meet at my house if you come with suhabib, but i still say those two service stations are the best meeting spots for the cruise.

They're just off the highway so you can see them as you're driving along and wont miss them as they have signage which tells you you're approaching them.

They are the best options rather than meeting at shopping centres.

So yeah bring your swimming trunks as well :P

Ok this is the final schedule for the cruise.

Meeting places and times are as follows, Sunday 3rd of April;

For help and directions you can call me on 0438 790 770 and i'll give you as much of hand finding your way out as i can.

First meeting place for those who requested is my house.

The address is 16 Vanburgh St,
Holland Park / MT Gravatt,
my street is off Nursery road, very easy to find, take a quick look in the refidex and you will have no problems finding it. For anyone who knows the area, its very close the homemaker centre in MT Gravatt. Meeting Time at my place is 9:15am - 9:30am, i will not be waiting around any longer than 9:30am.

Second meeting spot is the shell / coles express on nudgee road, NF has included the map and its very easy to find, its just off the gateway motorway, about 2 - 3klms after the airport exit on the left hand side. You need to take the exit for nudgee road / sandgate road to get to the service station. We will be in the car park, should be a decent group of us so look out for us. Meeting time for here will be between 10:00am - 10:30am.

From there we will be heading up the coast, up the bruce highway, we will be meeting at the BP Caboolture which comes off the bruce highway, this is a huge bp service station similar to the one at Coomera. Meeting time will be between 11:00am - 11:30am.

From there we will be leaving to head up to Maleny and to our final destination which is baroon pocket dam, i'll print out some directions and bring them with me in case people get lost.

We will be on channel 17 UHF, this will be the designated channel for the cruise so those of you with UHF radio's bring them along, they're a great way to keep in contact on the way up.

And for those of you who dont know me, i drive a pearl white s14a 200sx, with r32 rims, so dont be shy, come and say hello.

Anyways guys see you all there, i'm bringing up some fella's from the gold coast as well, there will be a 360kw @ the rears skyline coming with us which should be very interesting to see :)

I need one person who knows where the place is to cruise in the middle of the pack and one person at the tail so stragglers can follow and i'll lead up front or if someone else wants to i'm not fussy either. We'll work something out on the two service station stops, that reminds me, need to buy some batteries for the radio, i may be able to get hold of a spare. I'll see what i can do.
