Recommend me: Bluetooth mouse

Logitech V470s and M555bs are both cheap ($25 and $30 respectively) on logitechshop - I need one to go with my shiny new ultrabook, but usually notebook mice are tiny and horrible to handle.

And recommendations on either of the two, or alternative suggestions?

Alternative suggestion: Stay away from bluetooth mice. They're a pain in the ass and whenever any of our clients have purchased them, they've had nothing but problems with them. If you want wireless, just get a standard RF mouse

JB Hi-Fi.
They had a 15% off all notebooks thing on last night, plus it was already marked down from $1495 to $1395, so I paid about $1185 for it (13" i5 model).

I don't know if it's all stores, but where I bought it from they were putting up signs extending the 15% off until this Sunday.

I have the logitech 470. My gaming mouse is logitech G9 so its smaller than many mice and despite my big hand, i prefer the small mouse. Light and easy to move which i prefer. As for the 470, its smaller still but i like it. Did a big stint of minecraft on laptop when i was away recently n had no issues with mouse. My issue was movement keys being a lot more central than when i use a keyboard and push it far left.

I bought the 470 cause of the bluetooth and to save USB ports however at least 3 times over 4 months of weekly use ive had to delete the drivers and have the mouse automatically reinstall itself for it to work. No idea why as the timing was random. Apart from that issue (which took me ages to figure out initially but since then its a 60sec fix), ive had no issue with battery life or anything like that. And no issue with dodgy bluetooth connection.

Terrible advice - it's the most over-rated too-many-fkn-buttons brick of a mouse I have ever used, and I generally prefer logitech's range.

The buttons on the left side? Absolutely useless, good luck pressing them without moving the mouse as they are both in a stupid position and each button is fucking triangular with very little surface area (dear logitech: buttons should be mostly FLAT on the surface to allow one to press towards the mouse and hence minimise movement).

I can't stand the buttons where you can click the mouse wheel left and right. That really irritates me and I always end up disabling it.

I'd love to see a modern mouse that can be middle clicked without accidentally scrolling. Heaps of negative reviews on some of logitech's range due to phantom scrolling of that type ...

That's why I like mice with one (or two max) thumb buttons that I can map to middle-button - can click without scrolling, without having the cursor move, and without having to move a finger/thumb. G400 wired for the win :P

I have had a couple of BT500+ bluetooth mice for... well at least 4 years. They still work and are hunky dory as far as I can rate.
Couple of rechargeable AAAs, no worries.

I have one of these http://au.razerzone.com/gaming-mice/razer-orochi

while it is small, and i personally dont use the bluetooth function (I leave it as a "corded" mouse) I find it not too small, and rather nice to use,

the only down side in the cord can be a little short if you are using a pluged in keyboard, and dont have a spare usb port on your mousing side (again not an issue if you bluetooth it)

and just two AA's (I also like the fact you have a neat pluggy thingy that make it a corded mouse, but in no way does that feature take anything away from it's wireless function)
