What are you people talking about? Latest version of Android is 3.0. This thing says it can run 2.1 a the latest, which came out over a year ago. The screen is slightly lower resolution than my phone (which is over a year old as well). It has a 533Mhz CPU and 256MB of RAM which is pitiful. Most likely has a resistive touch screen as well.

It's cheap, but don't expect it to do wonders.

I don't -know- that it has a resistive touch screen, but for that price, it's unlikely to have a capacitive screen.

2.2 is the current version.

2.3 is coming out soon (if not out already)

This is tablet is running 2.1 and can't be upgraded to 2.2.

Is that a bad thing? for a $100 it's not, but it's not great either.

Not being upgradable is pretty much against the Android design philosophy so it sounds like it has some custom device drivers (for the touch screen perhaps) which are probably poorly or incorrectly written for Android.

I would avoid, even at that price, good as it is.

Thanks for your advice fellas. I'll stay clear of it.

I would think for that price it would be reactive screen.

Yeah stay away from anything below 2.2 is my advice after having both 2.1 and 2.2 devices. Also stay away from COTD unless you're buying simple or rare electronic stuff below $50.

2.3 is the current version for phones. It came out months ago with the Nexus S. 3.0 is the latest for tablets.

Yeah kinda - $100 for an tablet when Apple, Samsung and Motorola are selling them for $500-$600 sounds like a used car salesmen flogging off a late model Ferrari for $30K
