i think that anyone who has been a PC system builder will tell you that unboxing is a chore, not an amazing experience
Unless it's your own rig, which you decided 2xsli cards, a 1000watt psu, 450 dollar motherboard, hosting a cpu twice as much. You held back though, you can later on get the third sli if you feel the need for more power.
The only better pleasure than unboxing is benchmarking. Oh god i can't wait to see my score!
Well really the truth is somewhere between. If the components are cheap and boring and mass, then you're going to be bored. If it's something you spent quite a bit of time saving for, then you deserve to at least enjoy the pointless exercise of unboxing it yourself.
It's kind of like christmas, except, it's stuff you actually want!
