I'm looking for viewing platforms, observation decks and lookouts around the place

I've done the airport (the acacia st loop), city hall, mt coot-tha, bartleys hill, wild horse mountain.

Someone mentioned to me one time about something to do with the port of brisbane or some observation place for when the big cruise ships come in?

Any other notable places?

Storey Bridge Climb?
Theres a crappy viewing platform down in Ormeau that overlooks the highway, it was originally overlooking all the farmland in the area then the highway went thru it.

Mt. Gravatt look-out gives you a good view over Brisbane and out to the bay.

The Redland Bay Hotel is a good place to have food and a beer looking out over the bay too.

The Peak look out on Victoria peak in Hong Kong is amazing and the cable car ride up is fun

oh you mean Brisbane? How about mt tamborine? Its a nice day trip drive and there are restaurants up there to get a bite (food is ok in most) or do a picnic rug thing. the view off to the back of the gold coast can be nice on a good day
