Would anyone care to suggest what they believe are the best and largest PC game development companies in Australia? Looking online I have found some but not many.

What is with these really weird first posts from randoms?

hmm, within a gaming community forum asking a gaming related question didn't seem weird to me. Maybe I'm in the wrong forum or wrong community.

Not really. It's a valid question. If you were to bell curve random posts by new accounts in a week. This week would be be a large value standard deviation from the norm

prolly cause you are looking for 'companies' instead of individuals.

Off the top of my head, I'd say the biggest ones left are SEGA Studios Australia in Brisbane, 2K Marin (formerly 2K Australia, formerly Irrational) in Canberra, KMM in Sydney, and EA's Firemonkeys in Melbourne. Though some of the other indies like Halfbrick might be bigger now than you think.

Yeah, but Firemonkeys aren't PC developers, don't think Halfbrick are either? I didn't know that 2k office in canberra still existed either, I thought it had disappeared, didn't realise it had been folded into 2k Marin.

It's pretty sad how Brisbane has gone from having Sega, Krome, THQ, Pandemic, HalfBrick, Fuzzy Eyes and Auran to just Sega and HalfBrick.

Though I think I read somewhere recently that Fuzzy Eyes was back, is that right?
