Continuing the nostalgia trip, Sony has unveiled three new 'Evolution' trailers ahead of their PlayStation Meeting 2013 where many are expecting the reveal of Sony's next-gen console.

The trailers take a look back at their previous handheld and console devices, including the very infamous PlayStation 2 launch.
PlayStation’s arrival to the world of gaming signaled a change in the status quo and a sign of things to come. The original PlayStation system emerged in 1994 in Japan as a dark horse challenger, a seemingly outgunned newcomer entering a crowded field dominated by legends of the 16-bit era. PlayStation’s advanced technology and innovative controller design won raves with critics and gamers, and in 1995, the system expanded to North America, Europe, and Australia. Accompanied by a powerful salvo of titles including WipEout, Crash Bandicoot, and Gran Turismo, PlayStation’s rapid rise marked the end of one era of videogames and the dawn of another. The world was never the same.
You can check out all three trailers below which include a look at the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable and the PlayStation Vita, but you can also check out the first 'Evolution' trailer over here along with a new leaked photo of the rumoured PlayStation 4 controller.

The Nostalgia in the PS1 and PS2 vids are pretty cool.
They were quick to talk up PSN, then again I'm assuming it wasn't a worthless piece of sh** in the States, Japan or Europe.

Looking back over what I've played on PS3, I don't know if I'm excited for the 'PS4' at all :/
