seems to have broken for me in the last few days.. works from ausgamers though
i sent a mail to the admins but no reply..
anyone else who uses qgl having the same problem?

qgl.ausforums.com remains useful when you're on some random pc and just want a quick browse because the default ausgamers theme gives my eyes aids.

Well I do.
A few days ago i tried to resurrect the Thread about that cheating GRUB lance armstrong so i searched and found it on Ausgamers. But to post I had to log into Ausgamers.
When i did it rebirthed the Thread but then i could no longer post on QGL.
I thought I was banned for being too cool
I ended up going to Ausgamers and logging out
then I could post here again.
I dont game anymore but i like the mix of posters.
I kinda like the old school layout of QGL too.

yeah I prefer QGL too, ausgamers has all these annoying looking sections :/
I found that I can't edit a post in QGL anymore, also don't like searching for a thread in ausgamers cause if you want to post in searched thread, you have to do it in ausgamers.

maybe if you have QGL open then open Ausgamers it doesnt ask you to log in ?

QGL because I don't know HTML well enough and I like the helpful "Image, Quote, URL" links. Add these to Ausgamers and I'm there.
I have an Ausgamers tab open for searching old posts.
For your not being able to post issue follow Faceys link, just log out then back in and it should work.

the horrible banners and drop downs at the top of ausgamers is what keeps me on qgl. also the post box is better the buttons aren't round.

No wonder you're having issues *edit_2* I just hit the 'back' button here in Opera Opera can be quite a nazi with cookies / scripts by default. I had to edit some preference somewhere to make it work with QGL. You have to (unfortunately) enable 3rd party cookies. |

i still try to use qgl - this is the first time ive made a post via ausgamers.noticed recently including just now that most the time if i make a post from qgl it doesnt actually make it to the thread.Same as editing posts or making new threads via qgl - doesnt seem to make it through to the forum after telling me it's been submitted. I get that all the time from ausgamers, just wait a minute and hit refresh and the post shows up (for me anyway). Must be something to do with caching or queued database access or some such thing that I have no idea about
