I know Sonny is trying to get ring experience and will probably knock him out in round x, but he's just so open defence. Any half decent heavyweight will destroy him.
I thought quade's guy was meant to have some reasonable pedigree in kickboxing or something? but yeah, given their footy careers, as if they're ever going to fight someone who could hurt them.
also is the stream choppy as hell for everyone else? my internet is pretty heinous but normally can find something ok on vipbox
Botha was lazy for most of that fight. Yeah SBW was almost out near the end, but if you're on your feet at the end of the fight that doesn't mean anything.
Can anyone explain how no-one was sure how many rounds the match would go for.
I'd heard that due to a clause in the contract between the fighters, if SBW's nose is cut and/or bleeding the fight was to be cut to 10 rounds. Do not quote me on that though, I just read that somewhere when I was trying to find out the reason. Most of the news articles being posted about the win have no idea though so it's probably incorrect.

He cant be seriously injured because he has to play footy next weekend.
I mean really, what kind of credibility is there in a Match that has rules that are decided by one team ?
turns out this 'fight' was pretty much absolutely corrupt. the wba stipulates that all sanctioned fights shall go for 12 x 3min rounds. the wba official was not allowed to officiate by whatever commission was running that show (there wasn't one).
regardless of how much of a bum the insurance guy was I liked that quade actually got in and out with quick jabs that landed. even though it's completely representative of his mostly pussy footed approach to rugby, he wasn't just throwing wild overheads the whole fight like I would have expected. better 'boxing' than sbw showed, in my lousy opinion.
But Cooper does NOT look like a boxer. Did he ever have his hands up? Also, his movement was laboured, not natural. I cant see a future in boxing for him, can you? I was however impressed with his quickness of hands. Boy needs work if he is to continue.
For starters Cooper's foot work needs to be 100 x better before he lands his next fight.... Talk about Amature hour! Much better tallent out there at smaller clubs in Brisbane alone... Boxing in Aus... at the moment is a joke
