Trying to find out what you would call this:

Some sort of hole-punch/press i think its for sheet-metal/ally

A bloke here at work says its to punch holes in alloy window frames.

Makes sense it came from a place that dealt a lot with ally.

Its defs not a strapping thingo. Its too heavy duty for that. It has a 1/2 metre lever. Bit of an overkill.

I would personally use that to crack Macadamia nuts. May be a little bit over the top, but at least it will get those hard little fuckers.

You know they do the same thing for metal straps, the kind you find around big 20-30kg steel frames?

you feed the pieces of metal strapping around the metal bundle, get the metal clip and then you pump the thing to bind it together and press the clip together and cut the roll of binding strap.



Although turns out i might not be right :)
