Guerrilla Games has announced an official release date for upcoming PlayStation Vita exclusive title Killzone: Mercenary, placing it in the September release period. The Vita exclusive will offer a new first-person shooter experience in the Killzone series, with producer Poria Torkan taking to the PlayStation blog to confirm several key details including touch-based support and tilt control.
Comprised of nine single-player missions — each nearly an hour in length— Killzone: Mercenary delivers a full Killzone experience in a portable package. Completed missions unlock additional replay challenges, with a host of special objectives to accomplish. The game also boasts a full-fledged multiplayer mode with six maps tailored for eight players and three different game types, including the popular Warzone mode.Torkan also revealed a new trailer for Killzone: Mercenary which you can check out below alongside several new screenshots showing off the Killzone engine which you can find at our game page.
Killzone: Mercenary will be available on September 17th exclusively for PlayStation Vita.

wish they would put the killzone franchise on pc, i just cant play shooters on the ps, it just feels wrong.
I know what you mean joerocket. Playing FPS on PC feels much more flowing with controls. Maybe it's because i'm a hard core PC gamer. My PS3 is basicly a blueray player for watching movies.
