I thought i'd start a topic on this here, for a few laughs..

And for abit of an update (if anyone cares) yes the asian gf is long gone, and i just had a coffee with (an aussie girl kthx) today, a truly amazing girl, so that's triggered this post i suppose.

Now to the point, say you have coffee, at what point would you contact again to propose a first date? though im unsure if a coffee meet is considered a first date or not... probably not.
Thoughts?

Personally, I would stop labeling dates etc.

Treat her like a friend first, catch up for dinner / lunch and do something fun. Then slowly work into the intimate "Dates" once you both work out if its what you want.

I respectfully disagree with Defi.

IMO get the whole dating/f*****g etc thing rolling as soon as possible (without looking desperate of course). Take things slow and you risk the friend zone or her f*****g some dude cause she thought u were just friends while you thought it was a relationship. Something simple like a dinner and movie is cheap n easy and you can go for the smooch / sex after if she is interested and take things from there. Id probably text her tomorrow saying you had a nice time and would like to catch up again, maybe for dinner and a movie next weekend. See if she is interested, then come thur or fri call her to organise something a day or 2 later.

However, i havent done the dating game for 5+ years and dont have facebook or any social media so im not down with the current times.

Phone sex her.

eg.

Sarah Connor: [answers Phone] Hello?
Matt: First I'm gonna rip the buttons off your blouse one by one, then run my tongue down your neck to your bare, gleaming breasts. And then slowly... slowly pull your jeans off inch by inch.
Sarah Connor: [Sarah starts laughing and covers the receiver with her hand] Ginger, it's Matt.
Matt: And lick your belly in circles further and further down, and then pull your panties off with my teeth.
Sarah Connor: [in a serious tone] Who *is* this?
Matt: God. Sarah? Jesus. I'm Sorry. I thought you were... Can I talk to Ginger please?
Sarah Connor: Sure, Bunky.
Ginger Ventura: [takes phone from Sarah] Hello?
Matt: First I'm gonna rip the buttons off your blouse one by one...

Then take her to Club Noir and get shot at by Arnie.

Ouch, the friendzone is strong in that one, redhat. It's almost painful to read lol.

And yeah, like a few other guys said, f*** that "wait for 3 days before calling, limit yourself to 10 minutes" bulls***.

Give her a call the next day (or if you really don't want to risk the minute chance of just seeming like a desperado, give it a day, but you risk her thinking you were "meh" with the date) and have a chat, make a follow up sometime "next week".

You pick the place, let her pick the time. If she can't, ask her if there's a better time than "next week" and she might say "how 'bout tomorrow?"

Try limit the sex in the first while. It's hard, but trust me. Having sex for 3 weeks straight after 2 dates can end up scaring a girl off (despite it being quite fun).

If all else fails, there's roofies.

I get dinner Sparrow, that's fairly straight-forward, and can be as complicated as the pair attending choose to make it on the night.

Going to a Movie has recently been made waaaaay more complicated in recent years apparently.
As a friend of mine put it a few years ago, "Why go to a Movie together? you both show up interested to learn about one another and then spend 60-120 minutes sitting next to each other in the dark". (I get this idea also, that you can stop somewhere for a drink or dessert or something after the movie and do the catchup thing, but yeah, 'Going to the Movies' isn't a great option for a first date as I see it.)

This is as I'd seen it for years; until recently when I asked a gal (who I thought showed several signs of interest) if she was interested in catching a movie, and she immediately became uncomfortable, like I was sc00bs or something (well, like I'd put it the way sc00bs did in his last post in this thread anyway). Unless I had 'it' out and didn't realise at the time...

I'm pretty good at reading peoples body language professionally, but still can NOT read Women at all.

I get dinner Sparrow, that's fairly straight-forward, and can be as complicated as the pair attending choose to make it on the night.Going to a Movie has recently been made waaaaay more complicated in recent years apparently. As a friend of mine put it a few years ago, "Why go to a Movie together? you both show up interested to learn about one another and then spend 60-120 minutes sitting next to each other in the dark". (I get this idea also, that you can stop somewhere for a drink or dessert or something after the movie and do the catchup thing, but yeah, 'Going to the Movies' isn't a great option for a first date as I see it.)This is as I'd seen it for years; until recently when I asked a gal (who I thought showed several signs of interest) if she was interested in catching a movie, and she immediately became uncomfortable, like I was sc00bs or something (well, like I'd put it the way sc00bs did in his last post in this thread anyway). Unless I had 'it' out and didn't realise at the time...I'm pretty good at reading peoples body language professionally, but still can NOT read Women at all.

I was just listing other popular data options. I personally don't go on dates, so I don't really know what is appropriate. My main point was make it obviously a date, rather than an easy-out.

The only time i'd goto a movie for a date is if we're already established gf/bf, or, if its a potential gf, and i want to start having sex with them i'll take them to a drive-in movie. Works for me.

In my experience coffee is the date you accept when you aren't interested in anything else but want to be nice. Try going straight for dinner or a movie next time.

Movie is pretty s*** IMO. Sit for 2h+ with no talking. I guess though you have pretty good post-discussion.

I reckon glean some more info via texts before you hook up a date. One, you determine if she is even remotely interested (i.e., she'll respond to your texts). Two, find out some things about her.

E.g., "Are you into music much?" - then you can say you're going to a gig and see if she wants to come.

Or she's into TV shows, you can invite her over for dinner and start a new season/series you both haven't seen yet but are interested in.

I agree with the theory you have to be mates. You have to be besties else the relationship is going nowhere.

I'm very "all or nothing". I just go all in, play all my cards. Shell out personal info from day dot, expect the same in return, and go from there.

I reckon you fail at this s*** because you follow way too many rules/protocols of "dating"

If you can read 'professional' body language then reading women's body language would be exactly the same, since you know body language is body language.
Generally with the dating game the women have, at least the initial, power. They give you the signals to approach.

Coffee is one of the best starter dates available. It is informal, can easily sit across a table and talk eye-to-eye, it isn't too short or too long and can easily be extended or shortened. By the end of a coffee run it should be fairly easy to see if the person has potential and is offering signals of further engagements.

In general women are less direct then men and prefer to give 'hints' through body language of what she thinks of you. Men, in general, suck at that and prefer just simply being told. And so the dating game goes.

Sigh, noob.

Car sex is really bad, even when you're not caring about getting caught. I swear, never again.

If you knew you had 6 months to live you'd simply play the numbers game and just ask out every tidy chicky babe.
There's a high probabilty you'd find Ms Right in no time ... but then you would be dead.

^^ if I had 6 months to live I wouldn't waste it chasing birds. I'd waste it hang gliding, sky diving, white water rafting, all that crazy s***.

Then at the end, when I'm too f***ed to move and stuck in a hospital bed, no need to chase women, plenty of hot nurses to grab at.
