According to a
new filing by Bethesda Softorks (thanks
Eurogamer), the company behind recent Fallout and Elder Scrolls titles has claimed a trademark for "an on-going television program set in a post-nuclear apocalyptic world." Considering the only post-nuclear apocalyptic world is their Fallout RPG series, it is more than likely referring to a possible Fallout TV show.
The news of a possible Fallout TV show is coincidental for some, with Eurogamer speculating that the recent tweets by DJ Three Dog actor Erik Todd Dellums could have been connected. The recent tweet stated that "To all my #Fallout3 and #ThreeDog fans: There may be more of the Dog coming! Fingers crossed!" with many speculating it could be pointing to a new title in the RPG series, however with the discovery of this trademark it may have simply been talking about the TV show. It isn't known yet whether the TV show will follow closely to Bethesda's Fallout 3 title, or be a completely new setting.
