Film Director Kevin Tancharoen has posted a quick Instagram snap of himself with the actors of Mortal Kombat: Legacy's second season, revealing the cast of characters set to feature in the next round of short films based on the popular fighting game series (via ComingSoon.net, thanks VG247):
The first season of Mortal Kombat: Legacy was one of the most-viewed web series of 2011 with more than 60 million views to date on Machinima. In the second season, the saga continues as Liu Kang and Ermac join the ranks of fighters introduced in the first season of the web series including Kenshi, Kung Lao, Kuai Lang, Stryker, Kitana, Mileena, Johnny Cage, Scorpion and Sub Zero. This new season will uncover the rivalries and histories of these fierce warriors as Raiden and his recruits clash against the dark forces of Outworld. The new episodes are expected to debut via Machinima from February 17 2013.
This was the one that had the brilliant first episode with Michael Jai White and then fell into the lame and corny style of all the other MK movie/shows whatever, right?
Or did I judge too quickly and it turned out to be pretty good?
I gave up because they'd make you sit through the same ad before each instalment of the series, and it was a really annoying ad.
Nah Zakson you're pretty much right. The series was awesome in theory but in reality was pretty boring.
I liked it, some episodes were better than others, but overall I enjoyed it. Keen to see some more, and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa as Shang Tsung again makes it all worthwhile.
