Our sporting colours are Green and Gold yet our Flag is red white and blue.
It really bugs me our Flag.
I dont think it helps for Abbos who see the Union Jack a bit like the way Jews saw the Swastika.

The Land Rights Flag with a Green Kangaroo in the centre would be good.

I think the aboriginal flag should be added to the flag, I don' think the union jack should be removed. My friends dad was in the mundine music video ripping up the Australian flag and he disagrees, but his son agrees with me, it is important to represent both histories. Side note they found huge remains in Australia of a giant serpent of dreamtime size that was still around when aboriginals are thought tovhave come here.

Watching racist people go absolutely bananas over the aboriginal flag being added to the Australian flag would be utterly hilarious. It would be worth doing it just for that. The funniest bit would be people trying to hide the fact that they are racist by saying "but my grandfather died for that flag in the war" I reckon.

While we're adding the Aboriginal flag to the national flag lets add the Torres Strait Islander flag as well. Then add the Greek, Italian, Lebanese, Japanese & Chinese flags after that. Multiculturalism and all that, yeah?

IMO just bugger off the Union Jack instead. Perhaps the southern cross as well for no reason except to piss off tattooed bogans.
