They play more dubstep than skrillex on jjj. I dont know the names of the other artists as all dubstep has the same sound imo. I do know that its terribly cliche to dis skrillex and say all other dubstep is awesome. Lol. Never listen to spooks music advice. He admits to listening to nova ffs.

what gets me is i listen to JJJ all day every working day and i only recognise about 5 of the songs posted by title alone. that's fucked up. does anyone else do this?
Nope, I listen to JJJ for a couple of hours every couple of days and recognise most songs. IIRC a number of people here complain about them not announcing/back announcing songs, but honestly have never noticed them not do it. In fact, I remember some times them making a point of going back and back-announcing if they accidentally forgot.

Best of the guitar based/band orientated stuff imo. Love how i only voted for 9 songs. Didnt even realise til afterwards. Only 9 songs in shortlist as well. I think im over my electronica phase. phew :)
Every year, even when out of the country (especially?) Triple J's Hottest 100 gives me my shuffle folder for the first six (5+1) months of the new year. Just waiting on ozmp3 to deliver!!
Yeah I know, by the time it makes the hottest 100 it is old, but so am I.
It certainly exposes me to lots of 'new' music I wouldn't have grown to enjoy otherwise, and gets me to gigs I wouldn't have even considered going to previously because I didn't know about the group a year ago when they first came through promoting that album.
Top 10 had three songs i think deserved to be there. 1) Of Monsters and men. 2) Mumford and sons (it's not my tune, but i certainly feel like it's a song, a good song, just not my style) 3) tame impala's elephant (that other song is trash).
I actually turned on JJJ when they hit #10 by coincidence, but then was forced to turn it off.
Far too hungover to deal with bad music even if it's only one day.
