From what I could tell when it first started disrupting g+ is that you needed to be creative to get an invite, so I'll wait till they are giving them out to people that can just click a sign up button

Awesome, my invite came through.

Collecting XM in the Sydney CBD, I somehow managed to only do half the training though, might have to redo it when I get back outside so I can work out wtf is going on.

From what I can gather on google+ its like gmail was back in the day, you use it for a while then you get a trickle of invites for friends.
